Last week I had the opportunity to get a sneak peek of the 2019 St. Jude Dream Home for Nashville this year and it is amazing! I work with California Closets of Nashville assisting with local social media and this is the second year in a row that they have donated the design and installation of the master suite walk-in closet for the St. Jude Dream Home. This year’s home is once again in Mt. Juliet in the Jackson Hills subdivision, which is about 20 miles east from downtown Nashville.
The entire 3,000-square-foot home is amazing, but of course I am partial to the closet AND this incredible master suite.

Love this first floor master suite by Michael! It has an elegant boho vibe. I love all of the textures and the mix of glam (see the bedside tables) and more rustic textures on the bed linens and pillows.

So, here’s a fun little back story. As I was walking up to the home they were getting ready for an official ribbon cutting photo out front and our local ABC affiliate, WKRN, was there filming. I immediately recognized designer Michael Moloney front and center! If you are fans of Extreme Home Makeover then you know Michael! Michael travels around the U.S. working with just a few select St. Jude Dream Homes in key cities designing the master suite and he traveled to Nashville this year to lend his design skills to this gorgeous home.
Of course, I had to ask for a photo! We watched Extreme Home Makeover every Sunday night back in the day! He’s a super nice guy and so talented! The master suite is gorgeous and the lucky winner of the St. Jude Dream Home wins all of the furnishings and decor in every room, including the bedroom designed by Michael.
That’s right…you could win this gorgeous custom home valued at $500K? Tickets are just $100 and all proceeds benefit St. Jude. Plus if you buy your ticket by June 9 you’re also eligible to win a 2019 Ford Escape! The winner of this home, built by Signature Homes in the Jackson Hills subdivision in Mt. Tours are free and open to the public on Saturdays from 9 to 5 and Sunday from noon to 5.

Cozy first-floor family room. Love the exposed rustic beams and the stone fireplace! The kitchen is open to this room. I did not get a good photo of the kitchen, but it features the most amazing tile on the backsplash that looks like aged white brick.
