Staying Stylish and Saving Time with Stylogic Personal Styling Service

If you follow me on Instagram you know I have a penchant for fashion. I am also, like many of you, a very busy working mom. I was thrilled when Stylogic personal styling service contacted me to give them a whirl!

The service is really easy to use. First of all you create an account and complete a simple style questionnaire that is visually based (think a Pinterest type photo board from which you are asked to choose the outfits you would like to wear.) The questions also help pinpoint what type of clothing you are looking for: work week clothes; day-to-night looks; event looks; or travel friendly clothes. I love that this further personalizes your selections to suit your lifestyle. I chose work week clothes since I am doing some freelance contract PR and writing work and attending client meetings. Casual outfits are easier for me to find and I can be content with a great pair of jeans, boots and an awesome top. It’s the more “professional” attire I could use help with.

Stylogic also asks questions to determine what clothing is most flattering for your frame. You are asked to choose your body type, what “problem” areas you would like to conceal and also what colors and patterns you would like to avoid in your set. These all help the stylist determine the perfect items personalized for you! They also offer a wide range of sizes, from 0 to 28. You can also choose how often you receive a set – from as frequently as every 2 to 3 weeks to as infrequently as every 3 months.

When my box arrived I was super excited to open it. It’s like receiving a present at your doorstep! Everything was packaged nicely and had a Stylogic branded tag. I also received a price sheet describing the products: a dress, a pointelle lightweight cardigan, a floral blouse, pinstripe pants and a statement necklace.

One of the items really knocked my socks off and it is this dress in a gorgeous mint green. I absolutely love green and this shade is so pretty for spring and summer. It looks nice with my skin tone and hair color. Plus the material is a very forgiving stretchy fabric making it flattering as well as comfortable and the cut is classic. This dress will never go out of style and will look great at work events! Priced at just $60 I think it’s a perfect investment piece and I was extremely happy with it. I can see wearing it here in Nashville easily half the year, from Easter through August and even September with a tailored jacket or sweater.

This is the casual outfit I was sent by my Stylogic stylist. I love the feminine top priced at $45. It’s super cute and and just a tad flowy and I would style it with a great pair of skinny jeans in white or even dark denim and wedge sandals or booties. It’s a keeper.

The black pinstriped pants fit (hurrah worthy as I’m barely 5 ft. 2 and it is very difficult for me to find pants that fit properly), however they didn’t wow me. They are also as expensive as the mint green dress and if I have to choose I’d choose the dress. I am also pretty frugal and paying $65 for a pair of pants is just not my thing unless they are an investment piece or a pair of jeans. I love my denim!

I also decided against the red statement necklace from Monet brand that I was sent. It’s a super cute style, but didn’t really seem to go with the pastel vibe of my other items. I also received this cute Belldini brand pointelle cardigan which is great for layering but I already have a ton of cardigans. It’s a pretty pale celery green color.

Overall I was very pleased with my Stylogic personal styling service experience and I was impressed that the items fit my short body frame as that is even a challenge for me in the store when I have many options at my fingertips!

Shipping is free both ways on your Stylogic box and should you decide to keep all five items you get the $25 stylist fee taken off your total purchase AND 20 percent off. The total for all five of my items with these discounts was just $163.80. You can read all the details here.

This is a great service for busy women who don’t always have time to shop and enjoy having someone else choose some styles for them!
