It’s officially spring in Nashville and I’m loving that it is still light out when I get off work!

Although we don’t have a neighborhood pool, we do have an indoor pool at our local gym as well as a great outdoor pool we can frequent at my sister’s apartment complex. With lots of our friends enjoying fabulous beach vacations this week on spring break I’ll admit to doing a little summer vacation research. One thing’s for sure, we are beach lovers and like to vacation at accommodations that include both beach access and pool access. Summer break means squeezing in as much time in the water as possible, whether it’s at one of our amazing lakes here in Middle Tennessee or at the pool.

Speedo is one of those go to brands that I’ve known for years as a quality brand for swimwear but I always associated them more with hard core swimmers. I recently ordered a few pool bag must haves from their website and was pleasantly surprised that they have a recreation line of on trend swimwear to choose from, as well as a great line of goggles and even athletic wear and footwear.

I recently ordered a great ruched halter style royal blue one piece that has a wonderful retro type vibe, a grab and go crochet look cover up that’s cute and comfy and swim goggles. I also ordered a one-piece suit for my 12-year-old from their recreation line and swim trunks for my husband.

In my many years of trying on thousands of swimsuits (only slightly exaggerating), I’ve found that ruching is your friend once you’ve got a mom bod. A halter style at the neckline is also really flattering.

Swim goggles seem to fall in the same category as sunglasses at our house. We can buy multiple pairs, but we still end up losing track of them!
