Sharing My Finds At Bargain Hunt

I am a big bargain shopper and love a good deal. Just like updating your wardrobe accessories, updating your home accessories is a great way to inexpensively change things up a bit. Change is good ya’ll!

I’ve been working on updating our formal dining room this fall into more of a music and reading room. After all, do people really use formal dining rooms for dining very often? Hmmmm I think not but I’ll let ya’ll chime in on that one.

Confession time. I’ve never been to Bargain Hunt but was recently given the chance to review the store and share my finds. I headed to the one here in Franklin, Tennessee, and was immediately intrigued by the pricing structure which you need to understand when you shop at Bargain Hunt. Basically the longer an item is on the shelves, the more it is marked down. There are signs posted throughout the store to remind you of the markdown levels and each item has a “Check my date!” label so you can see if it is marked down even lower than the original Bargain Hunt price.

Here are some of the great deals I found (and some are NOT in the home decor category).

An awesome mirror can really stand out in a room. This was just $44, but retailed originally for $99.

Bargain Hunt also features some clothing items, which are featured in the middle of the store. I found a gorgeous black London Fog car coat as well as this trendy vest, which was just $17. I was tempted to take it home!

There were a lot of upholstered items, such as accent chairs. I loved this ottoman, but it just didn’t fit with my house. Isn’t it awesome, though?

I saw several of these great black bookshelves for just $42. I was really tempted to buy one of these. These would be great in a home office.

So…drumroll time. What did I ultimately bring home from my Bargain Hunt shopping spree? Check out this cool ottoman in an updated charcoal gray fabric, which is perfect for the new look in our music and reading room! It was $49 and I love the fabric and the fact that it also doubles as storage for magazines, music books, etc. I’m all about hidden storage.

Check out the store locator on Bargain Hunt’s website to see if there is a store near you and let me know if you’ve ever shopped there.

Disclosure: I was provided with a gift card to shop at Bargain Hunt and share my finds. As always, all opinions expressed on my blog are mine all mine!

OMG Jamie! Just like you, I am a big bargain shopper too. MY brother and I are regular at Hoover Bargain Hunt and the deals they offer is just so ridiculous to say no. I once got my husband a $120 Airmax for just $50! It’s crazy, right?
