July 4th Sales: Because Saving Money is So Darn American

Happy holiday weekend! It’s the perfect time to relax and enjoy a day off from work and spend time with friends and family, whether you are having a cookout or watching fireworks or just relaxing. And, yes, there is always that all American past time of retail therapy.

Here is my wrap up of July 4th sales that really light my firecracker:

Target – Take 30% off on all clothing, shoes, and accessories! No code required–prices already reflect all discounts. Take an additional $5 off on most purchases of $50 or more, too. Some items are excluded, see site for full details. You’ll also score free shipping on all purchases of $25 and up, no fancy code required. This Merona denim dress is just $19. I could see this cute sporty dress dressed up or down and transitioning you into fall with a jacket or cardigan.

Anthropologie – Summer tag sale time! This is THE time to shop Anthro as it is normally way to pricey for me. Take up to 50% off on hundreds of new markdowns and sale items! No code necessary, prices already reflect all discounts. The big extra juicy news is you can also take an additional 20% off on all sale items and markdown items with code SALEAWAY. I love this North-South Swing tunic, which comes in a variety of color combos. It’s already marked down to $29.95 and with the additional 20% off the final sale price is $23.96.

I also love this glitzed arrow necklace with an Art Deco feel. It’s on sale for $23 (normally $50.) and would be gorgeous year-round with a simple top.

Ann Taylor – Another one of my favorite stores, their sales are always fabulous. Take 60% off on select festive faves! No code required. Eligible items will be marked and the discount will be automatically applied at check out. Plus get free shipping on all orders of $125 or more from Ann Taylor online, no code required. AND sale items are an additional 50% off with code HAPPY50 at checkout through Sunday, July 5.  I love this pinwheel skirt which is just $19.99 after the markdown and there are several skirts in this style on sale.

Banana Republic – Banana Republic is one of my favorite stores, and now is a great time to snag something you’ve had your eye on. Clearance sales are also a perfect time to purchase an unusual item that is a bit off your usual shopping radar. I love this sheath dress in an edgy metallic material. All sale items are an additional 50% off with code BRGOBIG, bringing it down to $54.99.

Charm & Chain – This is a new store to me but I am loving their jewelry! I wear my white resin monogram necklace almost daily and I love this turquoise version from Moon & Lola for summer. Save 20% sitewide at Charm & Chain with code FIREWORKS.

How pretty is this turquoise cocktail ring from Kendra Scott?

Modcloth – I love all the retro styles featured on Modcloth. They’re not having any exclusive sales specific to this holiday weekend, however they are having a huge summer clearance sale. There are still many barbecues and beaches to conquer. I love this Dream Palm True maxi dress, marked down to $26.

Kohl’s – Kohl’s is another one of my favorite go to stores for deals and the Kohl’s Cash is like retail crack. All of their sandals are on clearance. Now is your chance to snag a great looking wedge (always a comfortable option) sandal in white. This Apt. 9 style is now just $14.99!

Bluefly – Now is a great time to purchase a great swimsuit. MiracleSuit is on sale at Bluefly and this one-piece strapless black suit is a classic, as well as very slimming! It’s marked down to $79 from $168. A great, flattering suit, is worth the investment. Trust me mamas!
