We have had some incredibly spring-like days in Nashville this week. The girls and I had the opportunity to spend a recent sunny late afternoon with a wonderful local photographer who needed models for her business and it ended up being a gem of an afternoon for portraits! I was thrilled because it’s been several years (bad mama) since I have had any professional photos taken of the girls and no school pictures do not count.

I can’t wait to see the final shots. Misty with New Day Photography just purchased a couple of acres just outside Franklin last fall and her “office” is in a beautiful old country home built in the 1940s. Lots of character and charm on the grounds as you can see below.

Biscotti sent us a gorgeous flapper-girl Gatsby dress and it was the perfect choice for the vintage props.

Around these parts, winter does bring with it some fun opportunities for playing dress up such as father/daughter Girl Scout dances and Valentine’s day “dates” with dad. Even though Miss A tends to be more on the tomboy side, she loved this dress! It classic and fun. (And Biscotti offers free domestic ground shipping…hollah!)
