Fashion Friday: Shop, Save and Raise Money For Schools at Schoola

Schoola Online Consignment Review

My 7th grader wearing the cute pink Aeropostale sweater we purchased on Schoola for just $9! Use my exclusive code for my readers TRYSCHOOLA at checkout and save 25%!

It’s no secret I love shopping for bargains. When my girls were younger, I would hit quite a few annual children’s consignment sales here in Nashville. I primarily do all my shopping now, however, online so I was thrilled to learn about Schoola.

Schoola is online consignment shopping that raises money for the school of your choice. With brand names such as Gap, Gymboree, H&M, and Old Navy, it’s a fantastic way to save, shop AND 40% of your purchase goes to your child’s school! Plus right now they offer free shipping on all orders of $50 or more. I am all about the free shipping.

First of all a few thoughts on the site itself. It’s very easy to navigate and I really like the search by name brand option, which is especially great if you’re partial to certain brands for your kids. I also enjoyed narrowing my search down to price range with options ranging from Under $3 to Under $20 to Final Clearance.

Since I have two girls, I was all about the girls’ section. Check it out!

Schoola ConsignmentThere are also featured collections you can click on, such as a Special Occasion Shop where you can find twirly party dresses and dressier items perfect for Christmas and Valentine’s Day.

I also love that the condition of items is very accurately described. For example, an Apt. 9 (Kohl’s brand) shirt I ordered was described as having some minor wear and honestly it was in excellent used condition, in my opinion!

You can find local schools by clicking on the Find Your School section of the Schoola website. Nashville friends, I was able to find both my daughters’ public schools!

The only negative thing about the site is that it can be a bit overwhelming if you don’t have a specific item you are looking for, such as a winter coat or a party dress. For me it was most beneficial to search for specific favorite brands. I also noticed that there were several women’s brands in the High Schoola section, which actually is a win/win for moms who want to find labels like Ann Taylor on the cheap!

The fine folks at Schoola sent me a $20 credit to try out the site. So how did I do with my $20 credit? I was able to get my daughter’s sweater, a teal tank perfect for layering, a women’s GAP charcoal cowl neck sweater AND a fun royal blue and black striped Apt. 9 top that actually fits me. Score!

Want to try Schoola? Sign up through my referral link AND you’ll get a $15 credit! (And so will I!) It’s a shopping win for both of us! So what are you waiting for? Download the free Schoola app or shop online! Schoola is also perfect for school fundraisers!
