Family Road Trip Memories: Win a Car Seat from Toyota and #BuckleUpForLife

Some of my fondest memories with my girls are made during family road trips, whether it involves playing silly car games, singing at the tops of our lungs, or making a pit stop for lunch. When they were toddlers I always knew a good time had been had by the departure to zonk out time ratio when we were traveling. If they were good and worn out they’d snooze the entire way home. Actually even today at ages 9 and 12 that fun ratio still applies. It doesn’t matter if a car ride is 10 minutes, or 10 hours, we can always bond with our kids during drive time.

To celebrate these precious moments I’m honored to join Toyota, Traveling Mom, and She Buys Cars this week for two educational and fun social media events. This Google hangout will feature experts on car seat safety, including Toyota Safety Engineer Jennifer Pelky, as well as the Visionary of Buckle Up for Life, Dr. Victor Garcia. You will also have a chance to win one of 20 car seats being given away by event sponsor Toyota.

In addition to the Twitter Party and Google Hangout you have the chance to win a car seat here on my blog. I’m also giving away a new Evenflo car seat to one lucky reader! (The seat you receive will be based on your child’s needs.)

    I would get the Embrace infant seat. We picked the infant seat for our first child because we liked the stroller it went with, but don’t like the infant seat itself! (Plus it’s almost six years old now and has been used A LOT!) Would love the (yet to be conceived) Baby #3 to have a nice new carrier!

    my daughter just turned a yr old in july and is on the small side I would love to get her a convertible seat that can rear face until she is big enough/old enough to front face the triump LX looks like a great seat 🙂

    percentile in the industry in terms of safety, value, and ease
    of usage. A typical snug ride baby seat for babies comes with
    a cozy blanket, which uses organic cotton and has fleece lining.
    Obviously, because they grow so fast, none of us could keep up with purchasing the number of
    seats we required for our child if that were the case.
