Things I Love Thursday Summer’s Last Hurrah Edition

So, did everyone survive the back-to-school madness? Now that my girls are both both in school (4th and 7th…OMG how did that happen?!) I’m trying to play catch up on things I am loving.

Things I Love Thursday

I was long overdue for a dermatologist check up and being a big sun worshiper and child of the 80s who did her tanning bed time, I was a little nervous about some spots on my face and body. Thankfully I’m in good shape and I’ll go back in a year. I’ve been using Neurium AD this summer and really love the way it helps diminish fine lines.

More things I love that I think you’d love, too!

Things I Love Thursday

Shark Rocket Vacuum – Our three-dog household is very, very tough on vacuums. I can honestly say this is my most favorite vacuum ever and I could write an entire song a la Taylor Swift about it. It’s extremely lightweight. It doesn’t take up a lot of space in our utility room. It took less than 5 minutes to assemble. Yet despite it’s dainty appearance, it’s AWESOME. I’ve recommended it to my mom and my girls can easily use it. It has two settings (carpet and hard surfaces.) My only complaint is the cord is quite long and I wish it was retractable as it can be a bit of a pain when carrying the vacuum out to the trash to empty. But seriously, if you’re looking for a lightweight, but powerful, vacuum, I highly recommend it. It’s on sale right now on Amazon for $169.

California Naturel Products – I’m a skincare junkie and always on the lookout for new products that are kind to my skin, and to my family’s! My 12-year-old had an outdoor travel soccer tourney this past weekend and I packed the new SPF 30 sunscreen I was sent to check out from California Naturel. They have an entire line of products. My other faves are the lip balm and the gentle cleansing gel (which removes my makeup and has an awesome, fresh scent.)

Ninja Ultima Blender Plus– More household awesomeness. I was on a huge smoothie kick this spring and summer and our Ninja blender is a beast! Love it. I’ve yet to fully master all of its capabilities, which includes making soups, etc.

Lazybunz Pool Float – This is definitely a conversation starter at the pool! Comfy and cool, the Lazybunz enables you to sit upright in the pool so you can relax, enjoy a drink, and just concentrate on pool time. It’s extremely durable and stores flat, making it easy to toss in the car. Also there is NO inflating involved which gets a huge thumbs up from this mom. So far this float appears to be indestructible. It comes in fun colors, collegiate editions, AND is on sale right now for $39.99. There’s even a Lazy Bar float. (awesome)

Citrushine Stainless Steel Wipes – A friend in marketing for GE sent me these wipes and they work amazingly well on our stainless steel dishwasher. I also use them to spiff up our stainless steel trash can in the kitchen, as well as our coffee maker.

R. W. Knudsen Just Juice – R.W. Knudsen Family is proud to be the innovator of Just Juice juices made with top-quality fruit. We’ve tried the Just Cranberry (which just has 9 grams of sugar) and Just Aronia Berry. These great make amazing cocktail mixers. Here locally in Nashville you can find them at Produce Place and Wild Oats.

Carmex – This is old school awesomeness. I love the new pomegranate flavor!
