First of all, how is it possible that it’s NEARLY OCTOBER?

Here are some things I’m loving this week. My brain is filled with various and sundry Post It type ideas and I’ve been working a lot and just finished volunteering as coordinator for Miss A’s class silent auction basket, so a Things I Loved Thursday wrap up is the best I’m going to do for a coherent post at this point.

Speaking of nearly October, Boo Berry is in da house!

And so are my boots. Yippee! I love, love, love jeans and boots weather.

I enjoyed a fantastic brunch last Sunday outside with my friends from Fem City Nashville. I am proud to serve on the board of this new (to Nashville) professional women’s networking group. Seriously if you need more info, message me. You can get a lifetime membership through the end of this month for a one-time fee of only $100. We have a blast. One of our newest members is fellow Nashville area mom blogger Mandy Stribling from The Fabulous Baby Striblings. Check out her cute new painted furniture store, La Petite Maison. Fem City Nashville’s president Beth Tilley Green has big plans for our chapter!

Loved this eggs benedict with kale at Kocktails and Kouture at our gathering Sunday.

I am loving downloading free ebooks from the library to my Kindle. I just finished The Paris Wife, which is about Ernest Hemingway’s first marriage. My interest in Zelda Fitzgerald is now piqued and I definitely want to read Z: A Novel of Zelda Fitgerald. I’m in the process of The Healing which I just can’t quite get into but today I downloaded Where’d You Go Bernadette and The Time of My Life.

Hubby and I just finished watching House of Cards on Netflix. I love Kevin Spacey and Robin Penn together. We’re now on to The Killing. Both are fantastic, although I am missing a good comedy, like Arrested Development. Sheesh, seriously, though before House of Cards we finished up Walking Dead.House of Cards

Speaking of good comedy, you’ve got to check out this video with Jimmy Fallon and Justin Timberlake #likerightnow #hilarious #omg

And finally, I just signed up to receive daily deals from and HOLY CUTENESS! Lots of cute boutique-y type gift ideas for everyone, from mamas to babies and up to 80% off. Here’s a little preview:
