My girls are tomboys.

Occasionally, however, they will fall in love with a new outfit or a new pair of shoes, or better yet a SPARKLY pair of shoes. Every girl needs a little sparkle in her life, right? They make everything better, just like sprinkles on a cupcake.

I adore fall and all the new school supplies and starting a new academic year off on a fresh clean slate. It’s also fun to shop for new school clothes and it’s something I remember fondly from my own elementary and middle school days.

Although both my girls wear school uniforms, they occasionally have dress-down days and school picture day is coming up soon for their yearbooks.

Our friends at Gymboree sent us a gift card to pick out a few items from their adorable fall collections. You can’t go wrong with Gymboree, in my opinion. Everything is fun and fresh and feminine and coordinates well. Plus their website always features outfit ideas for each collection. I’m just sad that at 11 Miss C is just about to outgrow Gymboree!

Here are some of our fall picks…(I’d totally wear the yellow coat if it came in mom size.) Prepare to be blown away by the CUTE.

What are your faves? My 11-year-old chose the teal corduroy skort and white sweater and my 8-year-old selected the fun chambray bubble dress and the sparkly navy flats (see above.)
