Life has been busier than usual since my trip to Kenya. I’m trying to get back into the groove at work, Miss C has a travel soccer tournament this past weekend in Knoxville, and my spring allergies are especially sassy these days (I may have sneezed 1,014 times during the course of the weekend..I lost count at one point. Too bad sneezing doesn’t burn many calories as I’d be a size 2 by now.) A few days before I left for Kenya I received an email from my friends at VeggieTales asking if I’d like to host an Easter giveaway. And, I don’t know about you, but I love to assist the Easter Bunny in making his baskets, especially if I can eat a few fist fulls of jelly beans along the way.
I’m always up for making other busy parents lives a little easier so I was totally up for offering an amazing prize pack for a little VeggieTales fan out there. I mean what says Easter more than Peeps, chocolate bunnies, and Jesus loving talking veggies like Bob the Tomato and Larry the Cucumber?
VeggieTales has released a brand new DVD, The Little House That Stood, just in time for this Easter season. Featuring a cast of many fan-favorite VeggieTales characters including Bob, Larry, Junior Asparagus, The French Peas, and Madame Blueberry, this fun new DVD parodies beloved nursery rhymes, with a signature VeggieTales twist, from the Veggie version of “The Three Little Pigs” to “Humpty Dumpty.” The DVD also features a brand-new Silly Song, “Happy Tooth Day,” and a bonus feature, “The History of Mother Goose.” You can watch the title’s trailer on YouTube.
And now for the fun part. One lucky BlondeMomBlog.com reader will win an amazing Veggie Tales Easter prize pack valued at $100, just in time for Easter weekend!
