Visit Me Today on the Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Blog

If  you’re a native Middle Tennessean like me, chances are that at some point the life of a child in your circle of friends or family has been positively impacted by the Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

I’m so excited to share with ya’ll that I’ve been invited to join a fantastic team of writers that will be sharing their thoughts on parenting and more on the new Wishing Well blog hosted by Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.

My first quarterly post, Middle School: On Letting Go And Letting Her Grow, is live today and in it I share how my older daughter Miss C’s transition from elementary school to middle school has impacted me. (Plus I share an incredible awwww shucks sort of mom moment photo contrasting her as a tiny girl starting kindergarten to her today as a tween.)

I hope you enjoy my post!

What kind of milestones are you celebrating as your kids or grandkids start back to school?

p.s. Tomorrow and Wednesday I will be in Atlanta for Coca-Cola’s Conversations with Coca Cola conference! Follow along on Twitter at #cclp. And be sure to stop by my blog tomorrow for the next 15 Minutes to Fabulous series guest blogger, Jenny from The Southern Institute!
