Kleenex Shield. Sneeze. Swish. $100 Amazon Gift Card Giveaway

This giveaway is closed. The winner is Sherry who commented July 18, “Drinking water helps you avoid colds.” Congratulations Sherry and thanks to everyone who entered!

School begins two weeks from today in Nashville! We just got word last night about middle school orientation for my older daughter. I can’t even fathom that she will be in 5th grade! My younger daughter, Miss A, will be in 2nd grade. Speaking of Miss A, she and I were invited by Kleenex to attend a great mother/daughter blog event two years ago. It was honestly one of the most enjoyable blog events I have ever had the opportunity to participate in because I got to share the experience with my daughter. We met nationally recognized kindergarten teacher Patrice McCrary and learned all about a not so fun part of school — germs!

This year Kleenex has launched a fun campaign called Kleenex Shield. Sneeze. Swish. just in time for back to school and I’m thrilled to be on board as an official blog ambassador. This catchy three-step routine was developed to teach kids how to keep germs off of their hands. Both my daughters’ school supply wish lists included Kleenex so I know that both parents and teachers will appreciate this campaign! Here’s a little factoid with real ewwww power…according to a University of Arizona study, the average student’s hand has almost 1,500 more bacterial cells than commonly cleaned door handles and knobs.

Kleenex tissues offer their signature Sneeze Shield, a special coating that helps keep stuff off of hands and in the tissue. Because Kleenex knows how important convenience is to busy moms so they offer Sneeze Shield tissues in a variety of shapes and sizes:

The Slim Pack. Thin and sleek, so you can always keep a tissue on hand. Their trendy design makes it the perfect accessory for hip tweens and teens, while their convenient size makes it easy to slide them into pockets, back packs and bags.
The Car Wedge. Fits perfectly in the car door or glove compartment.
The Go Pack. Strong, soft and absorbent, Kleenex brand go packs have been there for happy tears and stuffy noses since 1924.

Kleenex has generously offered a $100 Amazon gift card for one lucky BlondeMomBlog.com reader to celebrate the launch of their Shield. Sneeze. Swish. campaign. This would be a great help as you do your back-to-school shopping!
