Sky High Nashvile Birthday Fun (Giveaway!)

Miss C getting ready to jump in the giant foam pit!

This giveaway is closed! The winners are Jessica Kelley, Tracy Lucas, Jessica Moore, Taylor Johnson, Malia, Brooke, Liz Taylor and Amy. Congrats and thanks for entering! Be on the lookout for a confirmation email.

Miss C celebrated double digits last week at Nashville’s newest, and I would wager, most ginormous birthday party venue for kids — Sky High Sports.

Sky High is a 50,000 plus square foot indoor trampoline park filled with enough giant trampoline areas to wear out even the most razzed up on birthday cake kids. Now that Miss C is past the princess and pin the tail on the donkey years, it’s getting tougher to find a birthday party venue that gets thumbs up cool approval. She’s a tomboy slash soccer girl and she’s outgrown a lot of the usual suspects when it comes to party places. Sky High was perfect for her and her friends!

The dodgeball court, which is monitored by a Sky High “ref,” was a big hit. Another favorite was the giant, and I mean giant as everything at Sky High is larger than life, foam pit. This area also has it’s own designated ref who makes sure kids take turns jumping into the pit, either from floor level or by swinging like Tarzan from a rope. My 7-year-old, Miss A, loved the free jump area. Of course no kids’ activity or birthday party venue would be complete without a lounge area for parents, a game and arcade area, and a snack bar. Have younger kids? Sky High has a designated area specifically for toddlers.

The super cool Dodgeball court.

Sky High Nashville offers drop-in admission by the hour for kids who just want to pop in with their families (the second hour is 1/2 price Monday-Thursday), although they highly recommend making advance reservations online. For birthday parties, Sky High provides everything but the cake (and packages include a slice of pizza and a bottled water for each kid.) Located on Harding near the airport, my only complaint is that we don’t have a Sky High in West Nashville!

I’m very excited to let ya’ll know that my blog is featured in The Tennessean today and will be on a monthly basis (did you catch last month’s post on Momsomnia in the newly revamped Family section?) To celebrate, I’m giving my Middle Tennessee readers a chance to check out Nashville’s newest family attraction.

To enter to win one of 10 one-hour passes to Sky High Nashville (each valued at $12), simply visit Sky High Nashville online and then come back to this post and let me know something you learned about the facility.

For up to five additional entries to this giveaway (please leave a new and separate comment on this post for each of these you do):

I’ll select a winner from all eligible comments using; giveaway closes at midnight CST Monday, June 25. Winner will be notified via email and will have 24 hours to respond before a new winner is randomly selected.

  1. Jessica Kelley says:

Wow, am I first? I learned that adults can jump too! I’m always wishing the “bouncy” places would have “grown up night” or something. Can’t wait to go!

  2. Tracy Lucas says:

Wow — didn’t know this place existed! We’re always on the lookout for affordable — and more importantly, tiring — things to do with the kids, haha.

Checked out the website, and I’m also excited by the dodgeball tournament idea. Great looking venue!

  3. Malia says:

I learned that you can purchase jump time online which made me very happy. I like seeing companies get into the 21st century and make basic services like that available on their websites!

  4. Lauren Williams says:

Just a hello from a BIG fan of Sky High Sports – SEATTLE! The place is a life-saver, esp. in rainy Seattle. You can grab the kid and GO – out here at least, the hours are fantastic. Remember when your kids, as babies, couldn’t sleep unless you took a ride in the car? My kid, seven-years-old, sometimes needs Sky High in the same way, now. Ah well. And get the FamilyPass – saves time and money. Yay.

  5. Brooke says:

They are open every day of the year! That is sweet!! Always looking for stuff to do on Memorial Day and Labor Day!

  6. Taylor Johnson says:

I visited Sky High’s website and learned that an AIRobics class will be coming soon! I can’t wait to attend. It will be a fun way to get exercise.
