Mission Accomplished: $75 VISA Gift Card Giveaway From Quaker

The cookie has landed. YUM.

I grew up with the goodness of Quaker oats in the familiar red container. My mom is a big baker and there was nothing better than a warm cookie fresh from the oven with a glass of cold milk!

Quaker has been around for more than 130 years but until now never had never added oatmeal cookies to their product line until today!

All I can say is it’s about time. My glass of ice cold milk has been waiting.

Quaker wants to help you celebrate an accomplishment that you finally checked off your list.

While I’d love to tell ya’ll that I finally have some grandiose achievement under my belt, like writing a children’s book or finishing my first 5K, sometimes it’s the simple goals that make us happy.

Ya’ll. I finally cleaned off my desk.

Whew. And let me tell you it was no dainty task.

My desk at home was pretty much a horrific eyesore. I had a Disney souvenirs pile, a blog to do pile, a picture pile, a school paper pile…it was pretty horrible. Filing via the pile method only works for so long. Life has been a little crazy for us lately and I just haven’t had a chance to spring clean my desk.

I finally cleaned it off and had the added bonus of finding some beautiful silhouettes that my mother-in-law had surprised me with several years ago. She’d heard that a silhouette artist was going to be in Nashville and sent him pictures of the girls when they were toddlers. He created beautiful silhouettes from their images and I will treasure them forever.

I’ve been “meaning to” get them framed forever ya’ll and I just have never gotten around to it which is pretty sad since my girls are now 9 and 7 and the silhouettes were done when they were 3 and 2.

Ahem.

Now if I can only “finally” print our vacation pictures and put them in albums before the girls graduate from high school!

Quaker wants to help you celebrate something you finally accomplished as well. Whether it’s finally succeeding at a new recipe or finally redecorating a room that’s been lost in the 80s, they want to hear your accomplishments.

Want to enter to win a Quaker prize pack that includes a variety of their delicious new cookies PLUS a $75 Visa gift card to help you finally accomplish a project you’ve wanted to tackle?

I would love to finish my scrapbooking. I have 5 full books of my first son’s first 2 years and then I got pregnant with my second and haven’t done any since then. My oldest is 4 and we just have a lot of pictures to get printed and supplies to buy. With diapers and food and…well, life, that stuff gets put on the wish list. I know I have to do it because I would hate if something happened to me and they weren’t done
