(L-R) Dallas blogger Valerie from Charmed Valerie, Montreal blogger Erica Diamond from Women on the Fence, Philly bloggers Whitney from Mommies With Style and Jo-Lynne from Musings of a Housewife who provided this awesome group shot of us at an early morning (YAWN) breakfast, and me.
Cannons blasting pink confetti, dancing hot cowboys in tight pink shirts, and a rock concert vibe and I didn’t even have to leave on a jet plane to experience it.
Move over Paris and Milan, Music City has got it goin’ on.
I’m definitely a jeans and t-shirt kind of mom but what even moderately girly girl wouldn’t jump at the chance to attend a fashion show? I was invited to a fabulous spring women’s fashion event and it was just what the retail therapy doctor ordered since we’ve been having this crazy little thing called snow.
I just attended the CAbi Scoop 2011 spring fashion show and I’m in love with the clothes I brought home. Part of the blogger experience was a shopping excursion. I found some incredible deals at the close out sale as CAbi, developed by designer Carol Anderson, clears out last year’s clothing and makes way for the fun spring line.
I had a blast and and I think this was just the fashion intervention I needed before I slipped into a permanent flip flops and yoga pants rut. Thanks to CAbi I found a lot of energy and inspiration from some amazing women and I finally found a pair of jeggings that didn’t kill me.
Disclosure: CAbi (Carol Anderson By Invitation) provided me with a gift card for shopping and paid for my accommodations and meals at Opryland Hotel.
LOVE, love, love CAbi clothes!! I’m hosting a party later this month!!
CAbi is a global brand now.One thing I like about CAbi clothes is that they perfectly mix fashion with comfort. Not many can do that.
Cant wait for this 2011 line. The cabi clothes and colors this year will far surpass 2010.
I just read Erica Diamond’s blog and then found yours! Looks like you gals had a great time – hope I can make it there next year.
PS. Love the story about the leggings!
I drop a leave a response each time I especially enjoy a article on a website or I
have something to contribute to the conversation.
Usually it’s triggered by the passion communicated in the article I read. And after this article Cowboys, Confetti, And Cute CAbi Clothes. I was moved enough to post a thought 🙂 I actually do have some questions for you if it’s okay.
Is it just me or does it look like like some of
these responses appear as if they are coming from
brain dead people? 😛 And, if you are writing on additional social sites, I’d like to follow you. Would you list the complete urls of your public pages like your twitter feed, Facebook page or linkedin profile?
Hi there! I could have sworn I’ve been to this blog before but after browsing through some of the post I realized it’s new to me.
Nonetheless, I’m definitely glad I found it and I’ll be book-marking and checking
back frequently!
