Perpetual Runny Nose Monday Blues

My 2-year-old’s got the sniffles. She had them last week, too. She wiped her snotty nose on my favorite coral 3/4 length sweater (its going to be 92 degrees here today, what the hell), what’s a mom to do?

Oh, I’ve already kept her home from daycare two days last week; I think I need to invest in more hand sanitizer and maybe some Lysol, too.

I’ve got the toddler with a perpetual runny nose Monday, mama needs some more coffee (she will weep if there’s only decaf at the office) blues.

Yeah.

For another oldie but goodie working mom blues ditty from none other but moi, check this one out. It’s like Groundhog Day around here, but with more drainage.

Hah! I’ve got the runny nose / dried snot on the face thing with The Bear. He’s teething, so we have to convince “nursery school” he’s not sick.

I’m off in search of more caffine myself.

My baby always has a runny nose. I don’t know if it’s allergies or what but it’s always on my clothes as well. Yuck! LOL!

Hope your daughter doesn’t get sick!

Darn it anyway. Hope she’s feeling dried up soon! We had a fever for the weekend at our house. Hope it’s all done now but kept the little tyke home today just to be safe. Oh the joys eh?

    Hugs,
    Holly

I’m having the “Hubby got up at 5 AM and decided it was a good idea to shine the bathroom light into my sleepy-eyes” morning. I too am already jonesing for that first hit of caffeine!!!

I had to give her some Triaminic in the middle of the night for a cough (she started coughing in the night), but I think this is just fall/seasonal allergies. Poor baby! She did fine at daycare yesterday, though.

    Knock on wood.
