Thankful Thursday

Things I’m thankful for this week (but I might not be so thankful for next week…I’m a flighty girl!)

Caitlin testing negative for strep Monday.

The Caitlinism of the week: “Mommy, you are the cutiest!”

The bedtime sticker system works! I am no longer waking up at 10 p.m. in Caitlin’s bed with my contacts stuck to my eyeballs after falling asleep reading to her.

The girls playing peacefully together with no hair pulling, arm pinching, or screeching.

Caitlin dressing up Amelia from her jewelry “chest” and playing princess last night. (Apparently when baby sister is involved, the queen is demoted to princess level.)

Selling my first Blogad to BabyDagny, a hip retail site for babies and toddlers, featuring such fun and funky duds as an Elvis jumpsuit sleeper, a “B is for Beer” t-shirt, and a Shakespeare theme diaper cover. Need I say more? Now go click (over there, to the right.) This ain’t Gymboree bitches.

The two-night season premiere of 24 on Sunday. Jack is back baby. This is followed by the return of Battlestar Galactica Jan. 21. Will Starbuck die? Will British actor Jamie Bamber have any more shirtless scenes?

  1. Bluegrass Mama says:

I’m actually more of a fan of positive strep tests, because at least you can treat it with antibiotics. Those viral infections are theh pits. LOL at “the cutiest.” And do you think the bedtime stickers would work for a 12 year old?

  2. Charla says:

Well, things are just roses and sunshine (well except the sickies) for you this week! It’s fun to read when happy things happen to good people!

And? I can’t wait for Jack Bauer on Sunday night!!

  3. Anne says:

starbuck can’t possibly be killed off. i couldn’t take it. now, a shirtless bamber-lama i CAN take. and I will too.
