[Don’t] Sing It, Sister

Busy, busy, busy. Work, work, work. Coffee, coffee, coffee.

Here’s something to amuse you. Connie Chung appears to be channeling Marilyn Monroe. She also appears to be three sheets to the wind. And, what’s with the guy just sitting there and not playing the piano? There needs to be background music because this entire thing is painful. This was her swan song on Saturday’s finale of MSNBC’s “Weekends with Maury & Connie.” And it’s the most popular video this week on You Tube. You’ll see why. It’s like watching bad karaoke in broad daylight completely sober.

Painful is an understatement! File this under “what the hell was she thinking!?” I thought the same thing about the guy not playing the piano. Poor thing, he looks like he wants to hide in the piano bench.

I was so bad it was almost good. And completely laughable. I thought Connie had a little more class than that. Perhaps that’s what happens when your career takes a turn for the worse?

I’m guessing her days as a “serious” journalist are officially over. It was painfully bad and yet I couldn’t take my eyes off of it. I just kept saying to myself, “I can’t believe someone would do this in public, let alone TV.”
