Otherwise known as the corner of our back yard. This was taken last Friday before the hubby tamed it with our mower. Our weed eater is on the fritz and the timing couldn’t be worse since we have had so much rain and I’m fairly certain at some point this summer I’ll be taking mammoth mosquitoes out with a Super Soaker or maybe BB gun.
By contrast, here is my mother’s lovely picturesque backyard Sunday afternoon. She has dirt in her veins ya’ll. That’s a knockout rose bush to the right. I’m thinking of getting one, however, I’m not sure I’m in the mood to test my gardening inadequacy (although my mom says they are foolproof) or sentence a lovely rose bush to certain death.

Miss A has been sick since Tuesday with something called Adenovirus, which I was convinced was strep throat, so I’m thinking of writing a post about childhood infectious diseases that need a PR campaign due to their unattractive names. I’m looking at YOU Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease.
