Mama Was A Hottie

It’s Mother’s Day and what better way to celebrate than to share a few pictures of my beautiful mother.

1969

Me and my mom, fall of 1969. I’m sure you can’t decipher the year by the dark wood paneling in the background. I’m looking a little cross-eyed. It may be from staring at that busy dress pattern for too long.

1970

Poolside Polaroid spring 1970 with my mom. I can still smell the Coppertone lotion in the brown bottle. This was back when SPF stood for Sunning Poolside & Frying. This is also back when I could go topless and not worry about a thing.

2002

Fall 2002 with a baby Miss C in sock feet.

In 2006 with a piggy-tailed Miss A at one of Miss C’s soccer games during a rare moment where Miss A would actually sit still.

2009

Winter 2009 with my girls at our house.

Happy Mother’s Day everyone! May your hands touch nary a dirty dish, may your hair look perfect, may the calories from all the desserts you eat be instantly burned off with a smile, and may your children give you lots and lots of love and no sass, at least until bedtime.
