GE Monogram Experience Center with the ever oh so cool light fixture that reminds me of some exotic sea creature. It’s going to be tough to come back home to my kitchen after basking in this awesome-ness.

I’ve been invited to join a small group of bloggers for a luxurious learning and sharing opportunity at the GE Monogram Experience Center, an amazing 9,000 square foot complex and culinary center in Louisville, Kentucky.

And one of you gets to come with me!

GE is hosting this “Momsperience” in May which will feature sessions focusing on challenges in the kitchen and Entertaining made simple, as well as other topics. The GE Momsperience also will include seeing some of Louisville’s hotspots.

In addition to the bloggers invited, GE is offering all of us the opportunity to bring along a reader!

Yes, you read that right.

The GE Monogram Experience Center is typically only open to visits by architects, designers, contractors, and other home-industry professionals, so this will be a rare treat. GE will cover airfare (or mileage reimbursement if you are driving), hotel, meals and ground transportation in Louisville and a concierge will make your travel reservations so you don’t have to lift a finger.

My biggest challenge in the kitchen is prepping and serving quick and easy family dinners, without resorting to opening a box of mac n’ cheese…not that I’d ever do that (wink.) We need easy meal plans, but we need also need healthy meals. My husband and I are both in our 40s now and we need to keep up with two very active little girls.

Now, on to the fun part!
