Baby Dove Skincare Products Giveaway

While I am long past the baby years, I am entering that age where my nieces and nephews are becoming parents and young couples moving into our neighborhood are entering parenthood as well.

Dove is a product I recall my grandmother using. She always used Dove soap and it had a clean, refreshing smell that was familiar and comforting. Baby Dove is the brand new line of baby skin care from Dove, a brand with a rich 60 year heritage of providing skin cleansing and moisturizing products. Baby Dove is formulated to be mild, of course, and also promises to replenish essential moisture and nutrients in a baby’s skin. I wish that these products had been around when my girls were babies as I would have totally used them!

Baby Dove features two lines, Rich Moisture and Sensitive Moisture, both of which are appropriate for all skin types. I was sent the full Rich Moisture line to review and it’s very reminiscent of the Dove products I grew up with. The scent is amazing!  Here’s a rundown of the entire line I was sent.

New Baby Dove line

Rich Moisture Tip-to-Toe Wash: This is one of my favorite products. I love a pump bottle for ease of use and preventing those uh oh spilled half the bottle mishaps. It’s also a great multi-tasking product for baby.

Rich Moisture Baby Lotion: It’s instantly soothing and while it does have fragrance, it’s been developed specifically for a baby’s sensitive skin. It’s both hypoallergenic and pH neutral. I’ve been using this myself to keep my summer tanned skin moisturized and love it.

Rich Moisture Baby Bar: If you like bar soap, this formula is milder and more moisturizing than ordinary soap as it includes Dove 1/4 moisturizing cream. It’s smaller than a full-size traditional bar of Dove but another product I would use on my own skin.

Rich Moisture Baby Wipes: Baby wipes are a new mom’s BFF, am I right? Baby Dove’s are very gentle, hypoallergenic and alcohol-free. They have a great refreshing scent, are durable and they can be used to wipe baby’s hands, feet…don’t just relegate them to diaper duty!

Rich Moisture Shampoo: This formula also has Dove 1/4 moisturizing cream to keep baby’s scalp moisturized and hair soft. It has all those gentle qualities you look for in baby’s first shampoo—it’s tear-free, hypoallergenic and pH neutral.

There is a girl who works at our dogs vets office, Genevieve is about to give birth to a baby boy. She has always taken such good care of our Scooter (since she has to go once a week to the vet). I would love to give this to her and her new baby boy.
