Real Mom Style and Fashion Panel Fun

Over the years I’ve had some amazing opportunities come my way via my blog. Last week I had the opportunity to participate in a hush hush secret mission organized by a retail establishment where I gave my input on real mom style.

I was one of 12 women bloggers and digital influencers from across the nation selected to participate in some fascinating focus groups and also there was SHOPPING involved so this was my kind of gig! It was a whirlwind 24 hours away from home but so much fun.

I loved that we are such a diverse and eclectic group. I suppose I represent the late 40s mom of tweens and teens Southern mom. Also I may have been the shortest woman there so I suppose I represent the SHORTIES (aka petite fashionistas). Now while I don’t always consider myself very “fashionista” worthy, especially when I’m home on Friday nights in my yoga pants and t-shirt after work, but THESE WERE MY PEOPLE ya’ll. We really enjoyed giving our honest opinions about shopping and the entire retail experience and SALES. Always the sales. I have a couple more assignments and I can’t wait!
