6 Classic Winter Capes For Less

I stumbled upon Draper James this week, Nashville native and actress Reese Witherspoon’s gorgeous boutique here in the super hot 12 South District in Nashville. Confession…I was actually on a quest for cupcakes but I was lured in by the gorgeous storefront.

Right now I just can’t justify dropping a few hundred bucks on an article of clothing. I did fall in love with this beautiful Georgia Windowpane Cape in the store, though, but found some less pricey looks for less online.

Last week I highlighted some beautiful coats on sale for less than $100. Now is the time to buy next year’s outerwear because everything winter is being marked down to make room for spring lines. The cape is a flowier and much more fun version of the buttoned-up coat, don’t you think?

Nordstrom Cape

Say you do have $300 in holiday cash stashed away and you’re waiting for the perfect find, this gorgeous camel cape at Nordstrom would be a lovely investment wardrobe piece. You’ll also get free shipping and free returns right now at Nordstrom.

I love the rich color of this Steve Madden Cape, which is marked down to $79 on 6 p.m.

This gorgeous red plaid cape was $300 on Amazon and is now $48.

red cape Jessica Simpson

Need a Valentine’s Day gift? This pretty red cape from Jessica Simpson was $200 and is now marked down to $29.99!

This classic looking cape is on sale at Macy’s for just $95.

Which cape is your favorite? I really love the Steve Madden solid burgundy cape and the bright red Jessica Simpson cape. I live in jeans and boots and either would look great as an everyday alternative to a traditional coat.
