A few months ago I was invited to try out Rocksbox. Subscription boxes are all the rage now, and you can get everything from munches to movies but I had never heard of a subscription box for jewelry…until now.
Rocksbox is reasonably priced. For just $19 a month (seriously you probably spend that much on coffee) you receive three items curated by a Rocksbox stylist from your own personal wish list that you create online when you sign up (and you can edit it, adding or deleting pieces as your tastes change). Each Rocksbox contains jewelry worth on average of around $200 so these are nice statement pieces from lines like Perry Street and House of Harlow. It’s quite fun to put together a wish list of your favorite jewelry and even more fun to see what arrives each month. Oh and each shipment arrives in a reusable shipping envelope AND with a postage paid return label making the entire process easy peasy. I hate, HATE going to the post office so you don’t have to stress about that at all. You can buy any piece from your Rocksbox set and each month you have $10 in Shine Spend credit to apply towards a purchase. Or you can choose to send it all, or just one or two of the three pieces, back.
Rocksbox number two arrived in my mail last week and I fell totally in love with this Perry Street necklace and wore it to my monthly Femfessionals networking coffee. It is gorgeous! I love the pretty shades of green and blue.
Here is a close up without a filter.
I also received a longer House of Harlow necklace and Gorjana chevron stud earrings. Although I like the necklace, I probably won’t keep it. I also found the earrings to be too small (and I prefer small earrings.)
Your Rocksbox shipment arrives beautifully packaged and with a little inspirational sentiment.
Let me know if you sign up for Rocksbox. It’s the only subscription box that I receive and I really love it as it is such a fun way to try new accessories, which is one of the best ways to shake up your style!
I’m linking up to Fashion Friday today, which is hosted by some fabulous blogs such as Jo-Lynne Shane, as well as the MidLifeLuv link-up.
