Green is one of my favorite colors. I think a pretty vibrant green shade also looks incredibly flattering on all sorts of skin tones and with different hair colors.
Lucky for me (get it…ha) and you next week is the time to go green for St. Patrick’s Day.
Check out these green finds that will help you get your Blarney Stone on!
I adore this simple, classic dress on ThredUp (one of my favorite online consignment stores. I have a very similar green shade dress from Forever 21 and it’s so versatile! It’s perfect for spring, summer or fall. Wear it with wedges in the spring or boots and change up your jewelry. This dress would look great with a statement necklace like the one below from Chelsea Row (see what I did there…I made a rhyme! Next stop fashion lymerics!) Oh and be sure to click through my link and you’ll get a $10 credit to shop at ThredUp!
Here’s another similar basic clean-line piece in green that can be dressed up or down via Modcloth and it’s only $35. My blog friend Donna Roland from Faithfully Fashionable gave me a tip when I was in Sevierville and that is 3/4 sleeves are flattering on everyone and make you look thinner. Can I get a click of the heels on that? Whoop!
On the preppy trail, how fun are these bright patent driving moccasins from Cole Haan?
Maybe you’re more of a subtle green girl. You don’t want to get pinched on St. Pat’s but you don’t want to go full-on leprauchaun. Try some pretty green accessories like this statement necklace from Wild Lilies for just $30:
I also love these Elise Earrings from Chelsea Row for just $24:
This pretty vegan wristlet from Humble Chic is just $28. I’ve noticed a trend toward sleeker handbags and clutches lately, although I apparently have not gotten the message since my personal bag weighs about 25 pounds. Hmmmm.
Do you wear green on St. Patrick’s Day? Do you have anything else fun planned? Let’s hear about it!
I’m linking up to Fashion Friday, hosted by some fashionable bloggers like Jo-Lynne Shane.
