Have A Groovy, Grinchy Christmas With Manhattan Toy Company

Disclosure: Manhattan Toy Company sent us two adorable Groovy Girls dolls to facilitate this review. I received no other compensation for this post and giveaway.

This giveaway is closed. Laurie Emerson is the winner. Congrats to Laura and thanks to everyone who entered!

It’s the most wonderful time of the year and I am always a fan of fun, creative toys that encourage kids to use their imaginations, especially in a world of online EVERYTHING (including shopping!). I was thrilled to get in the spirit a little early this Christmas with Manhattan Toy Company.

Manhattan Toy Company features imaginative toys that you won’t always find in big box retailer, such as Whoozit, Groovy Girls, Dr. Seuss, Motor Works, and Baby Stella.

They have a wonderful section of award-winning toys from such prestigious industry names as Dr. Toy, Creative Child Magazine, and Oppenheimer, which as a parent I really appreciate. Even though my girls are getting older, I am always on the lookout for gift ideas for baby showers, birthday parties, and more gift-giving opportunities.Mr. Rogers Play Quote

Being a mom to two girls, I love the Groovy Girls, one-of-a-kind soft dolls that appeal to a girl’s sense of fashion and style, as well as her many interests. My girls are each unique with their own passion and talents and I love encouraging them to follow their dreams, whether its sports, academic, music, or art.

Introduced in 1998, each Groovy Girls character has a unique look expressed in her hairstyle, skin tone and hip outfit — just like girls in real life! This fabulous collection encourages every little girl’s sense of self-identity and individualism, celebrates friendship and diversity and validates the fact that girls are important in the world.

My 8-year-old loved her Groovy Girls and their fun outfits. She loves using her imagination and these are fun alternative to some of the not so groovy dolls on the market…if you know what I mean. Ideally I think these would be perfect gifts for 5 to 7-year-old girls and they are fun alternatives to dolls clearly marketed to sell DVDs and then some. I love all the Groovy Girls princess dolls, too, as well as the mermaids, like Aqualina. Isn’t she adorable?! I would have loved these dolls when I was a little girl.

Hiya! Quick question that’s entirely off topic.
Do you know how to make your site mobile friendly?
My web site looks weird when browsing from my apple iphone.

I’m trying to find a theme or plugin that
might be able to correct this problem. If you have any
    suggestions, please share. With thanks!
