Nashville: Win Tickets to the Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey Circus

I’ve been way too quiet on the blog this week. Work is crazy busy but trust me that is a good thing (I’m working as a social media consultant on a freelance basis) and between that and Girl Scout Cookie sales for both girls, weekly futsal games and practice for Miss C, and normal things like laundry and dinner and homework well, life is busy. I’ve also got something huge to announce soon regarding an incredible trip opportunity late next month that will be a life-changer.

But enough of that, on to something fun. Did you know the Greatest Show on Earth is headed to Nashville next weekend? And the best part is I have tickets! We went for the first time two years ago and it is always a fun family outing and a chance to see an incredible production. Trust me, if you get the chance to take your kids they will never forget it.

Our first Ringling Bros. circus outing back in 2011…Miss A wore a party dress she was so excited!

I’m giving away THREE family four-packs of tickets. Three lucky Middle Tennessee area readers will be able to take their families to this great circus production at Bridgestone Arena Jan. 25-27. This is the Dragons tour that combines all the traditional favorite circus acts with dragon lore. And what kid doesn’t DIG DRAGONS?

The official word from Ringling Bros is much more enticing: The anticipation builds throughout Ringling Bros. Presents DRAGONS as children of all ages bear witness to one phenomenal Ringling Bros. circus act after another, from Shaolin Kung Fu Warriors, charging Cossack riders, magnificent Asian elephants and fierce tigers to the frenzied Globe of Steel. As the audience observes these and even more real-world displays that pay tribute to the dragon, their continued excitement will bring glimpses of the elusive beast. But, the big question remains: What will it take to lure a true dragon from its golden lair?

To enter, simply leave a comment telling me what your favorite part of the circus is. I always love seeing the amazing animals, especially the elephants. And also two words: COTTON CANDY. For up to three additional entries (please leave a new and separate comment on this post for each of these you do):

girl, you KNOW i love the circus! how am i supposed to pick just one thing? i’m going to have to say elephants, because those are ella’s spirit guides, and really, if they’d let me ride an elephant i’d run away and join the circus.

  2. rowena says:

and i’m a follower on pinterest too! (we seem to have similar addictions—we got a cotton candy machine from santa this year).

  3. Elizabeth says:

Cotton Candy :) The elephants are my favorite animal but I love watching the people swinging on the trapeze! EEE! I follow you on FB :) My little girl would LOVE this trip to the “big city” as she calls it!

  4. Dorothy says:

My favorite part of the circus is seeing all the children react to the animals, circus acts and the amazing light show, although some are scared they seem to manage to have a great time.

  5. Brigid says:

I have a love/hate relationship with the motorcycle people who ride in the little ball. Yikes!

I took away Maggie’s privilege of going to the circus a few years ago the morning of when she behaved badly. She remembers it and talks about it all the time. I’d love to be able to take her now to celebrate how far she’s come! :)

  6. Paige says:

I remember going to the Shriner’s circus in Memphis as a child, I was so into the show I peed in my pants! My favorite part was the woman who rode two white horses and did tricks. Amazing!I would love to take my daughter, and hopefully this time I could make it through with no accidents!

  7. Kim Hill says:

I love the wonder and magic inboth my neice, Anna Rose’s and m,y nephew, River’s when they see the lights, hear the music and see the animals. They just light up from excitement! It’s so precious and priceless.
