Of course for a soccer mom like me there is a purely selfish benefit to rain. Rain means our local soccer fields will likely be closed and there will be no hour and a half practice tonight.

wow soccer games in our area do not get cancelled in the rain…they just play in the mud-ugg.

Oh you are NOT alone! Just last weekend we had a torrential downpour and they wouldn’t stop the game. (No lightening or thunder) RIDICULOUS!
