Thankful

I’m taking a break from blogging here for a few days but first I thought I’d share a couple of great posts from earlier this week. If you’ve ever rescued a dog or even loved a dog, I’ve shared the story about our Jack. We’ve had him 10 years now and he’s an integral part of our family, not to mention he’s so handsome he’s like the Robert Redford of canines. I’ve also shared my woe is me SI joint story, although I am incredibly thankful that I walked 3 miles yesterday and I am not hurting this morning! You take your health for granted until is compromised, even in a very small way.

I have a lot to be thankful for this year. I have two incredibly bright and beautiful girls and an amazingly supportive husband. I’m thankful for my wonderful family and friends. Like any blogger, I live for comments and I wouldn’t be blogging without readers. So I am thankful for you. I’m also thankful for all the amazing opportunities I have had this year because of my blog. It has truly been an amazing year and I’m humbled and incredibly appreciative of that. I’ve had some “pinch me am I dreaming” moments this year and because of my blog I’ve had the opportunity to travel several times, which is something I love and don’t take for granted.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I hope each and everyone of you have a wonderful day filled with love, laughter, and lots of amazing food.

p.s. I’ll have some great giveaways at my review blog, Savvy Housewife, this weekend, including one of the hottest toys of the season so be sure to check it out!

Kids are certainly something to be thankful for! My kids have been such a blessing to me, and not just loving them, but they are like a mirror to our own character which helps US grow and change!
