It’s a busy pre-holiday weekend and I’m still not finished with Christmas shopping so I’m just going to post a few Christmas links I found last week while also procrastinating on addressing our cards (which I finally mailed Thursday).
I’m making these brownie bites with a hidden candy cane Hershey’s Kiss surprise in the middle for Miss A’s daycare Christmas party Monday (via Picky Palate) if I don’t eat all the Hershey’s Kisses before then.
I never got around to doing this, but I love this literary Advent calendar idea, which would be pretty darn easy to make, even for a non-crafty slacker mama like me (via Jolly Mom).
I attended a local blogger event sponsored by Glade at the Frothy Monkey several weeks ago courtesy of my friend Amy Allen Clark from Mom Advice. I’ve been drinking Amy’s delicious Homemade Vanilla Chai Tea Mix since we made it that night. It’s yum!

I’ve got two giveaways posted at my review blog. One is for two one-year- memberships to Ojolie, a website that features beautiful, artistic e-cards. The other is for 10 bottles of BabyGanics’ fragrance and alcohol free hand sanitizer called the Germinator...I know I am using hand sanitizer like a mofo these days!

Katie, I feel your 10 pounds! Between food at work and food gifts…ugh. As someone said to me last weekend, though….that’s what January is for.
I made the brownie bits this morning. Unfortunately they were more “brownie-esque” than cake like (as Picky Palate’s appeared in her photos) but I made them for a room full of 4-year-olds so I don’t think they’ll care.
That literary calendar is a great idea! I may use it to mark our trip.
