It’s not every day that you pick your kid up from school and she hands you a body part…OK OK a front tooth…inside a little plastic molar (for safe keeping.)
Houston, we have a double whammy front tooth gap!
The “tooth fairy” in the school office did the deed.
As you can see, Miss C was not happy about it at all.
Also it’s spirit week at school for the big fall fundraiser Friday (i.e. Good LORD could we have any more special outfit combinations and themes to remember in one week) and the day of the tooth reckoning was inside out and backwards day, hence the interesting choice of wardrobe.
Ironically we’d just had portraits made at the park Sunday afternoon but the tooth literally hung in there.
I told the dogs not to bark at the tooth fairy and they happily complied as there is extra kibble in it for them if they don’t disturb her.
I’m assuming the tooth fairy is female? What do you think?
My 6 year old just lost her two front ones as well last week! I love the double gap, it’s so cute!

She is sooooo adorable. Quick make lots of pictures right NOW, bc as soon as those two front teeth come in they look MUCH older. My 7yr old twins look so much older now w/ those big front teeth that are actually toobig for their mouths at this point , but still very cute!Of course the Tooth Fairy is a female! A man would never remember all those kids, and fly around all night in a sparkly dress and prob high heels too

I took Baby Girl to the dentist today and he showed me that the roots on her baby teeth are almost gone and that within the next couple of months she will start losing them. She won’t even be five until next month. That’s too soon, right? How come they have to keep growing up?

Did your kids ever watch the Sesame Street episode where Doogie Howser (I forget the guy’s actual name?) was the ‘shoe fairy’? It was just on the other day and its a perfect example of why the tooth fairy should be a woman! Hee hee

Too cute! My DD was all about keeping up with her older cousins too. Luckily she was happy to hold their hands and they were patient enough to walk slow. No heartattack for mommy and no emergency room visits.
