I can relate. I just love the honesty and kind of “emotional deconstruction and dissection” of this post. Just wanted to say that.

And I had a verbal tug-of-war with my 6yo today as she begged to go to Party City and I refused because the schedule wouldn’t allow.

Nothing is as good as it looks on television. You may be the I hate to break it to you kid kinda mom, but you are definately not alone in having let down your kids. That is what learning is all about.
