I still remember where I was that day when I first heard. I am sure everybody remembers what they where doing that day. Although I did not lose any people close to me, that day changed my life forever and many other peoples lives, no matter where you live in the world. What a sad story. I was in business school at the time in upstate NY, but I had a terrifying wait to find out if my now husband was all right as he had trained up from Philly that morning for a meeting in NYC... and his routine was to hit the World Trade Center after arrival.... luckily he was about a block away and saw the 1st plane crash. Didn't really know how serious it was until the 2nd one hit. Very scary. Cell phones were all down and I didn't hear from him till the end of the day. I was watching our news report and then turned it to the local news. I saw the second plain crash into the building on the news. My heart sank as I knew lives were lost. For the rest of the day my class watched the news.
