My youngest did the unibomber look for awhile. And definitely most days at our house are pick your battle mornings. I can’t wait for our school to start next week.

Well doesn’t she look sassy with her pink cheetah print book bag. Very cute.

And you are right. We do have to pick our battles.

Yeah the grief of getting Miss A to change outfits just wasn’t worth it. I figured if she gets hot she can take the jacket off!

I ordered the messenger bag from Lillian Vernon. It was on sale and it was just what she wanted. I couldn’t find one in the stores! It literally arrived two days ago so I was relieved it came in time for school.

Adorable! Did she have a good day?

  7. Marjorie

Such cute pictures. She looks like she’s more than ready to start 2nd grade.

I relate to the hoods and velour—my little one wore giant boots just about every day this summer.

She looks all set – and totally confident. I hope she had a great first day!

And I had to laugh at the jogging suit – I’ve got pictures to post of Becca from the other evening, outside in her pajamas, which were long pants with long sleeves that she’d picked out to wear that night. LOL

Adorable. My girls would love that cheetah print bag. We got a pink plaid one from Justice.

Lillian Vernon also has a matching lunch box but we’re making do with a cute polka dot one she got this summer for her birthday.

And Amy I just took Miss C into a Justice store a few weeks ago and she looked around and said, “Wow I bet Hannah Montana shops here!” It was cute. I’m also thankful she wears SSA to school or I’d be really broke from keeping up with the cute clothes out there for 7-year-olds…GOOD GRIEF!

Your girls are adorable. School is starting early for you—out where I’m at, my daughter doesn’t start school until the end of August. I’m totally laughing at your younger daughter in the jogging suit. I’ve had similar battles with my kids!
