Through the years I have tossed leaves, bribed with the promise of freshly picked treats, and practically turned cartwheels while juggling flaming popcorn balls to get the perfect Christmas card photo. And that was back when we just had dogs.
Every year there is a nanosecond of perfection and if you don’t capture it? Well, it’s just your tough luck. That’s why Hallmark doubles their display section at Walgreens during the holidays.
My fellow mom to two (adorable I might add) little girls, DesignHER Momma, is hosting a fun Christmas Card Fail Bloggy Carnival.
My mom ended up getting the perfect shot and I’m using it for our Christmas card (and I’ll post it Christmas week), but the girls came down with a major case of the sillies after about 10 minutes of modeling.

Cute! I blew my chance to get a picture of my kids together while the son was home for a visit the other day, so it looks like I will have to include separate pics of the kids for the first time ever.
