Unlike 75 percent of our neighbors, we don’t yet have a Christmas tree up and I keep forgetting to take down the harvest garden flag by the mailbox. Never, fear, however. I am not a total Scrooge mama. I’ve been playing Christmas CDs in my car for days.
This morning Miss A and I were on the way to daycare and she wanted me to crank “Baby, It’s Cold Outside.” This was a welcome change from Miss C wanting me to crank Britney Spears’ “Womanizer” on the way to dance class yesterday.
“Mommy what they say?”
“Baby it’s cold outside.”
“BAMBI it’s cold outside?!”
Speaking of the holidays, what are you wearing to your next holiday party? I have some frugalista* worthy picks over at Blissfully Domestic today that are all under $25.

Other than pulling out my Christmas china and the CDs, I haven’t done anything yet, either. I do keep meaning to replace the fall flag with the angel one, but Blondie, it’s cold outside!

We don’t have the big tree up, but the boys have theirs in their rooms.
On the lyrics front, I was at A&W with the boys the other night. Rolling Stones, Honkey Tonk Woman was playing. Evan asked ” Are they saying Ebay, Ebay Ebay”? correct translation: give me, give me, give me the honkey tonk blues!! Too funny!
I probably won’t have a xmas tree this year. BUT NEXT YEAR YES!!
Oh a mini-bar will be next to my desk in the home office!!
