I'm a 40-year-old soccer mom to two little girls desperately seeking sanity and hiding from the Barbie Pop-Tarts. I work as an editor and social media coordinator in business publishing. My husband, a former beach bartender, founded MouseCalls Computer Services here in Nashville. We have two mutts, one fish, and too much laundry. Estrogen and wine flow freely at our house.

I hope she was fine. Isn’t it strange how certain people that you barely know can stick with you?

it was probably nothing serious.most doctors can tell just by feeling the lump. whether they tell you or not.my grandmother’s doctor told her from the get-go he was pretty sure her lump was cancer.. he was right, too. my mom’s “probably nothing” lump really was nothing.

Just went in for the annual women’s checkup visit and my doctor is sending me for a baseline mammogram. Uggh- I hate those things. But you have to remember that most lumps are nothing and it’s always best to check everything out as early as you can.

Friglet phrased it right, how sometimes people you barely know can stick with you.

That just gave me chills. I too hope she received positive news.

Yesterday I was at the hospital all day for testing. Each person you see you wonder what their story is. Why are they there? I was lucky and got great news yesterday, but knowing there are so many others that didn’t takes some of the fun out of it, you know?

I just found out last week that a good friend of mine has breast cancer.
    I hope she’s okay too.
