Snowy Days Giveaways (Like Oprah’s Favorite Things, With Less Squealing)
January is probably my least favorite month. I always go through a post-holiday letdown and I just can’t get excited about going to the gym in my blazing glory of pastiness or making New Year’s resolutions or eating black-eyed peas. The weather in Middle Tennessee this time of year is often gray, gray, upon more gray, occasionally punctuated with rain and if we’re really lucky we might get some freezing rain just to shake things up a bit.
I had a few pending product reviews and I thought I’d package them in a series of giveaways. Starting this Friday and continuing on into February I’ll be posting a product review and a related giveaway every Friday. And yes, one can dream of snowy days here in the South.
Giveaway number one (posting later today, January 4) is for a container of RoC Skincare’s brand spankin’ new microdermabrasion cleansing discs. I started using these in December and I could IMMEDIATELY tell a difference in my skin. The big 4-0 is looming in 2009 and I was so needing some proactive skincare juju.
Giveaway two (posting January 11) is for a hip outdoor playmat from Gobaby.com, valued at $60. This is a stylish alternative to the random old grandma quilt or blanket you toss in the back of your car for your kids’ sports practices.
Giveaway three (posting January 18) is for the cutest anchor olive green long-sleeve baby onesie from ChildishClothing.com, favored by many celebri-moms such as Gwyneth Paltrow and Mariska Hargitay. Blog friends with new baby boys, check it out!
Giveaway four (posting January 25) is for a gift certificate for a free pack of Mabel’s Labels, cute personalized labels that are dishwasher and microwave proof. I’ve seen the lost and found mosh pit at Miss C’s school and apparently many parents could use these.
Giveaway five (posting February 1) is for a $25 coupon good for the wonderful online baby and children’s boutique, Little Piddles. Owner Jennifer is a reader of BlondeMomBlog so obviously she has great taste. Ahem.
Giveaway six (posting February 8) is for a cool personalized kids’ book from Aardvark Adventure Stories.
