Must Get the Bloggy Juices Flowing

First things first, Mrs. Flinger had beautiful Baby O this weekend via emergency c-section! The little guy was three weeks early and he’s in the NICU. Stop by her blog and wish the family well.

Second, I’ve been tagged by Mom of 2 and Wife of 1 for a meme and since I seem to have a hard time deciding what pressing issue of the day to blog about, this seems like a good opener.

INSTRUCTIONS: Remove the blog in the top spot from the following list and bump everyone up one place. Then add your blog to the bottom slot, like so.

1) Elizasmom
2) A Lifetime
3) The Life & Times of a First Time Stay at Home Mom
4) Mom of 2 and Wife of 1
5) BlondeMomBlog

Next select five people to tag:

Mrs. M, Dawn at The Mommy Post, Mrs. Schmitty, Holly at Holly’s Corner and Anne. If you don’t want to participate, no worries.

The hubby and I had just returned from our Key West honeymoon where, thankfully, he was not accosted by 6 feet tall drag queens on Duval Street, I was working for a local university in the PR department and we were looking for our first home… you know, the one where we would conceive our unborn children and where our future dogs would shed all their hair. BIG decision.

Thanks for sending love and prayers to Mrs. Flinger. She reads every one of them and I cannot tell you how much that means to her right now. All she keeps talking about is that her baby is a long ways away…the other end of the wing. (((((hugs for Leslie)))))

Second: I am so happy to finally have my site up so I can lurk again and sometimes be a good blogger and comment too. whew

  3. Mrs. Flinger says:

I have a blog, but I am blog illiterate. What is a meme and now to I get this in my own blog. Stupid questions I am sure, which is why we need to have lunch. I need a lesson!

Maybe at the BBQ we can sneak away to the computer and you can show me.

    Love your list

  2. [...] I ordered a cute personalized butterfly beach towel from Pottery Barn Kids last week (free shipping and only $19 before monogramming) and it arrived in the mail three days later! Holy fast shipping. Caitlin needs a towel for nap time at kindergarten and I thought she’d love one with her name on it. Plus she’s in this annoying phase where she wants to give her friends at school random things. As in, “Mommy can I give BFF my [insert random object, from flip flops to a headband here].” So this should stop her from giving her nap towel away. I hope. I mean I want her to be a giving person, but… [...]
