This week I’m thankful for:
Caitlin’s continued newfound love for soccer.
Amelia finally sleeping well after a horrible summer cold (12 hours solid Tuesday night…HALLELU-YAH). Sleep deprivation was kicking my butt and taking names.
Our upcoming beach vacation.
Last night’s beautiful sunset. (Red sky at night, sailor’s delight.)
Lunch with my best friend today at this place (although I’ll miss Houston’s, which this new restaurant replaced, and their awesome cheese toast…I remember eating there in 1986 before my junior prom.)
My cute silver charm bracelet from my best friend which has an engraved charm for each of my girlies as well as a flip flop charm.
Edited to add (just to get a rise out of my hubby): Beating the hubby and getting the all-time high score on the Tivo game, SameGame, the very first time I sat down to play it last night. Mwaa haa haa haa. That game is highly addictive.
I hope you’ll be wearing that flip flop charm on your upcoming beach vacation….
Oh, and that restaurant had more wines on the menu than food, which makes it my kind of place! Particularly, the burger with blue cheese…yum! Glad you got to spend some time with a friend
Those are all wonderful things to be thankful for…especially the solid sleep.
charm bracelets are so cool. and for me it is something you can’t buy yourself, someone has to give it to you. since I don’t have one I need to get the word out somehow!
Maybe we’ll have to try that place next time we’re in town to visit College Boy!
I have an Italian link charm bracelet (ok, so it’s a cheap version, probably from China) that I love. But it’s full, so I can’t decide if I should start a new one.
I love charm bracelets, also. I was thinking of starting one for my daughter and giving it to her when she became a teenager. But that would require going to the mall and I have just not been up for that lately.
