My sassy girls (although I could do without Amelia’s newfound love for climbing.)
My mother-in-law taking us to dinner tonight. No cooking! Can I get an Amen?!
Hot pink suede tennis shoes for Amelia on sale for less than $4 at Tar-jay.
Although Amelia has had a summer cold this week, at least she isn’t getting her usual ear infection thanks to her ear tubes.
The hubby surprising me early for my birthday and having our front flower beds mulched and completely pimped. Perhaps this will shame our neighbors into finally tossing those hanging baskets of dead flowers.
My dad entertaining the girls yesterday while I worked from home. He makes a great “manny.”
My mom continuing to feed Caitlin’s Dora obsession by getting her a fall Dora outfit.
Lunch at PF Chang’s today with my best friend to celebrate her birthday belatedly and plans to do another lunch soon. (Oh, and the free birthday cheesecake we split.)

I had the very predictable lo mein with shrimp and brown rice. My friend ordered the chicken with black bean sauce and it is VERY yummy (I had to take a bite.)I also love Pei Wei for a quick lunch…I believe they are an offshoot of PF Changs. OK…you’re making me hungry!
